In the map service you can find the active or closed pits in the form of polygon. There are different layers: the  perimeter of the pits under authorization process, the areas where the extraction is completed but not restored, the mining zones, the groundwater extraction areas, the restored areas, the areas recovered in pond. At present,  there are approximately 4000 features (600 active pits and 3400 ceased pits). The authorizations issued by the Provinces' authorities originate these data.
